I’m getting slammed at work, so I won’t say much in this post. If you have a few spare moments you might consider checking out the embedded video. Its a 7 minute mini-lecture on the reasons why couples have financial problems. In a nutshell Rodgers says that most people have conflict about money which can result in lying and controlling behavior.  His solution: an emergency fund and a budget.

Here are some simple guidelines for DINKS to build wealth:

5) Invest in stock. Stocks perform better than bonds or cash.

6) Avoid high interest debt. Credit cards and title loans are financial cancer.

7) Diversify. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
