A rumor is flying around the internet that Starbucks will be giving away free coffee on election day! Evidently there is no proof required that you voted, you just have to ask for the coffee.

However, ever vigilant of the public interest, the government of Washington State has contacted Starbucks to inform them that the giveaway might be illegal.

Despite the party poopers at Washington State, it might be worth swinging by Starbucks if its on the way to the polling station, free coffee is certainly better than paying 5 bucks.
